What is the £1 Campaign?
We Free Women provides fully funded wellness retreats for women facing hardship and we rely entirely on the generosity of people and businesses who believe every woman deserves to feel cared for.
The £1 Campaign is our way of making that easier than ever.
We're building a network of salons, clinics, and independent practitioners who support us through a simple micro-donation model linked to client appointments. No big commitment. No complicated setup. Just a small, consistent act that, when multiplied across a community of brilliant businesses, funds retreats that change lives.
How it works
There are two ways to get involved, and you choose whichever works best for your business.
Option 1 — Your business donates £1 per appointment
For every client you see, you donate £1 to We Free Women. Keep a simple count of appointments, and transfer the total to us once per quarter. That's it. No system changes, no fuss just a straightforward commitment that adds up to something meaningful.
A salon seeing 50 clients a week donates just £50 a week, that's £600 a year, and a real difference to a real woman.
Option 2 — Offer your clients an optional £1 at the till
Add a £1 'Support We Free Women' option to your EPOS or card reader. When clients pay, give them the option to add it — a simple, friendly mention is all it takes. Funds are collected and transferred to us quarterly. It costs your business nothing, and your clients get to be part of something bigger.
Many salons already run this model for charity partnerships and clients respond warmly to small, voluntary contributions.

Most importantly, your clients will know you're a business that stands for something. And in our experience, that matters to people.

If you're visiting one of our donation partner businesses and you're offered the option to add £1 at the till — please say yes if you can.
100% of every pound goes directly toward funding a woman's retreat. £1 won't change your day. But it might change hers.
